Wellsford scores semi-final ticket

Wellsford clinched a convincing win over Hikurangi 24-13 to secure a place in the semi-finals of Northland’s Southern Districts Premier Competition last month.Club president Glenn Wetherill says the Premier side has been plagued by injury this year so qualifying for the semi-final is a great result. Museum to rival Te Papa


Site works have started on the new Mangawhai Museum, on the corner of Thelma Road and Molesworth Drive.Historical society president Christine Bygrave hopes that building consent will be granted by the end of the month and then construction costs can be finalised.
