Carters sponsor walkways map

Manga_walkways_map.JPGA new map featuring Mangawhai walkways has been welcomed by information centre volunteers.

The tear-off colour map is dedicated solely to walkways. It shows the routes of 10 walks, with a detailed description of each on the reverse side. The map is sponsored by Carters of Mangawhai and was introduced to volunteers at an orientation day last month.

Guest speaker at the event was Tourism New Zealand’s Andrew Leslie, who gave an overview of the i-SITE network.

The information centre on Molesworth Drive will open daily at 9am from December 18 to Easter. It is currently open at weekends.
