PHO purchase saves Heritage Home from certain closure

The Heritage Rest Home, in Olympus Rd, Wellsford, has been saved from closure by an 11th hour takeover by Coast to Coast PHO.

Motorway extension creeps north

Alignment planning for the extension of the northern motorway from Puhoi to Warkworth and Wellsford will start in the first quarter of next year, in a $1 billion project that will see four laning as far as Wellsford. Read more ...

Liquor ban spreads to Tomarata

Comment on a proposed liquor ban at Lake Tomarata and Warkworth’s old cement works closes on September 21.
