Lest we forget

 

Warkworth

6am dawn parade. Starts at the band rotunda, Churchill Rd, 10.30am civic parade. Starts band rotunda. Ends with lunch at the RSA. Info: Charlie Armstrong 425 8568

Leigh

10.50am march to cemetery starts 22 Harbour View Rd. 11am service and laying of wreaths. Weather option is Leigh Hall. Info: Tom Rutherford 422 6225

Wellsford

Dawn Service. Muster outside Wrightsons at 5.30am, march to Memorial Gates in Memorial Park for the start of the service shortly before 6am. The service will be followed by refreshments at the RSA and a champagne breakfast.

Hakaru

Assemble at 10am, march to flag at 10.30am, followed by the service at 11am including guest speaker. Visitors are advised to arrive early as a large crowd is expected.

Matakohe

Muster outside the Matakohe Hall at 10.30am, march to cemetery for flag raising ceremony, then onto Volunteers Hall at The kauri Museum for wreath laying and speeches.

Kawau Island

A full Anzac Day ceremony will be held at Kawau Island Yacht Club at 12 noon (or later if the ferry arrives later). All welcome. Refreshments will be available at the Club following the ceremony. Enquiries: Phone the Yacht Club on 422 8845.
