Puhoi Landcare

The Puhoi Landcare Group developed out of a recognition for a local body to encourage a greater
pest management within the Puhoi area. The purpose of the PLG is to encourage and educate local
landowners and the community in effective pest management for the benefit of the indigenous fauna
and flora. To this end the PLG aims to inform the community about pests, weeds, how to deal with
these issues, the use of traps and technology, suitable pest and weed control methodologies and how
to keep records.
