Centrestage Theatre

Built in 1990, Centrestage Theatre is a purpose built performing arts centre located in Orewa on the sunny Hibiscus Coast.

Each year Centrestage Theatre Company presents a season of three Major Musicals, a Youth Production, and one Play.

Centrestage Theatre boasts a 208 seat theatre, a brand new rehearsal space, a spacious foyer and commercial kitchen and bar, all available for you to hire either separately or as a whole.

You can become a member and either take an active part in how the theatre runs, or simply like support our work as a community charity while enjoying discounted prices to our productions.

Centrestage Theatre Company, in collaboration with the amazing team at Northern School of Performing Arts, provides an inclusive, nurturing and supportive learning environment for students of all ages (from toddlers through to adults!)

Our teachers are a qualified, highly skilled and passionate team of individuals that love working with aspiring performers by creating an environment filled with positive dialogue and proactive communications with students and parents. But most importantly, we have a lot of fun in all of our classes along the way!
