Ardmore opens hangar doors

NZ Warbirds at Ardmore will open the hangar doors for a display on March 15, which will include World War II fighters and a growing collection of rare World War I replica aircraft.

General manager Trish Reynolds says the air show will include some exciting new innovations.

“We have several new aircraft making an appearance, some travelling from other parts of New Zealand,” she says.“In addition to the aerial displays featuring an ex-military fighter and aerobatic aircraft, there will be an exhibition of static aircraft and a group of companies will provide aviation career advice.”

Gates open at 9am with the first flying display scheduled for 10.30am.
