Kawau Bay Painters is holding its annual exhibition on Queen’s Birthday weekend, Friday May 31 to Sunday June 2, at the Old Masonic Hall in Warkworth.
The group is comprised of local award winners, Jenny Arnerich, Colleen Kangwai, and Suzanne Williams, and this year the exhibit will feature contemporary art, as well as Chinese brush painting.
The group has also invited Maggie Matheson to exhibit in the foyer with her brightly glazed pottery.
This year’s special guests are Bob and Caroline Simpson with their acrylic painting and pencil drawings.
