Mother’s Day was made even more special for Wellsford Mum Kat Waldrom when daughter Anahera’s card entry won the WellsfordPlus Mother’s Day card competition.
The bright gift of Briar Rose Flowers was the prize for winning along with an extra treat of some organic chocolate from Theresa Sjoquist, a local writer and author. WellsfordPlus competition organiser Tania Bishop says Anahera’s card was the most creative.
“Anahera really thought about what she was going to say, and then made her entry with a rather colourful heart and decorations, which definitely showed how much she cares about her mother,” Tania says.
