The Rotary Satellite Club of Orewa-Millwater recently delivered canned and dried food to the Hibiscus Coast Community House’s foodbank in Orewa.
The food was generously donated after an appeal to a local supermarket.
Rotary president Caroline Butland says the organisation is dedicated to supporting the local community and grateful for the support of local supermarkets.
The items were accepted on behalf of the Community House by Judith Pearce, who said she was delighted with the donation and that the food items delivered were exactly what she was about to put on her shopping list.
