Update: Third person arrested for Dome Valley incident

A 42-year-old woman has been arrested in relation to an alleged serious assault of a female found on the side of a road in Dome Valley last Monday morning.
She is the third person to be arrested in relation to the incident.
She will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow on one charge of kidnapping.
Police are not ruling out the possibility of further arrests as the enquiry continues.
The victim remains in Auckland Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
No further comment is available as the matter is before the courts.
Second arrest made in Dome Valley incident

A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in relation to an alleged serious assault of a female who was found on the side of a road in Dome Valley Monday morning.
She is the second person to be arrested this week in relation to the incident.
The woman has been charged with two counts of kidnapping and one charge of threatening to kill.
She will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow.
Police are not ruling out the possibility of further charges and arrests in relation to the alleged assault.
The victim remains in Auckland Hospital in a stable condition.
No further comment is available as the matter is before the courts.
Man arrested

A 38-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an alleged serious assault on a female who was found on the side of a road in Dome Valley.
He has been charged with kidnapping and will appear in the North Shore District Court today. Police are not ruling out the possibility of further arrests as the enquiry unfolds.
The victim remains in Auckland Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
As the matter is now before the courts, no further comment will be made.

Police are continuing to appeal to members of the public for information on an incident in Dome Valley yesterday morning where a woman was found on the side of a road with serious head injuries.
We would like to thank the media and members of the public who called Police, they provided vital information which led to her identification.
As a result, her family have been contacted and are now at her bedside in Auckland Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Whilst we appreciate that there is on-going interest in the incident, our priority is to ensure a thorough and robust investigation and for that reason we are unable to comment on any specific lines of enquiry at this stage.
Police focus is now on establishing the circumstances which led to the victim receiving her injuries, and providing support to her family.
We ask anyone who saw anything in the Dome Valley area on Sunday evening through to Monday morning which may be of interest to the investigation team to contact Detective Senior Sergeant Kim Libby at Orewa Police Station on 09 426 4555.
