A fundraiser film night for the Warkworth A&P Show raised $1600 last month.
Matakana Cinemas main theatre was packed to capacity with more than 100 people attending the screening of Downton Abbey – a movie version of the successful television series. A&P Show chair Allan Barber says it was a very successful evening and everybody loved the film.
A dozen spot prizes were awarded on the night, including wine and vouchers for restaurant meals and hardware.
The A&P Show takes place at the Warkworth Showgrounds next year on March 21.
