Tyrepower has been running a national programme for two years in conjunction with Cooper Tyres to donate $5 to hospice for each tyre sold.
Across the 18 Tyrepower stores nationwide, they have raised $52,000 so far.
The funds are distributed locally, so Warkworth Tyrepower’s donations go direct to Harbour Hospice.
The programme began in Warkworth when puncture repairs were done for free in exchange for a gold coin donation to Hospice, but has now been rolled out across New Zealand.
