Lions seeking stock for giant book sale

Wellsford Lions are looking for unwanted books, records and DVDs for their annual Book Sale, which will open on Queen’s Birthday Weekend and run for the following week. All books are welcome, except for encyclopedias, Reader’s Digests and magazines. Funds raised from the sale will be donated to Wellsford Plunket. The giant sale will be held in the Wharehine building on State Highway 1 from Saturday, June 2 until Friday, June 8. Books and other items can be dropped off at Farmlands in Centennial Park Road, or contact Vanessa on 027 517 5897 or Maria on 425 8055.
