This monthly Puhoi Village Market is celebrating its 11th birthday on Sunday, February 24. As well as all the usual community produce, craft and food stalls, there will also be a car boot sale, live music and food and drink available at the sports club.
The February market, which runs from 9am to 1pm, also sees the return of the hotly contended Annual Tomato Competition, when tomatoes of every size, shape and colour will compete for the coveted trophy – a large red plastic tomato mounted on a wooden base, complete with brass plaque.
