A $300,000 revamp of the Point Wells boat ramp has been completed by Wharehine, Contractors just in time for summer.
The renewed ramp is marginally wider – 200mm with sloping sides.
The ramp is consented for the next 35 years, but Auckland Council hopes it will have a minimum life of 50 years.
Council is currently seeking resource consent to replace the ramp at Whangateau Domain.
