Toasting the completion of a $156,000 renovation of the Warkworth Community Rooms, in Alnwick Street, are, from left, Rodney Local Board community lease advisor Karen Walby, Warkworth Bridge Club vice-president Paul Decker and club president Jenny Robinson.

The improvements include new kitchen and bathroom facilities, an open plan interior and new furnishings.

The project was driven by the Bridge Club, which contributed the bulk of the funds, supported by Pub Charity, Warkworth Senior Citizens Club and NZ Lottery.
