Entries are now open for the three categories in this year’s New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards – NZ Share Farmer of the Year, NZ Dairy Manager of the Year and NZ Dairy Trainee of the Year.
NZ Dairy says the annual awards are designed to give people in the dairy sector a chance to challenge themselves, earn a regional or national title and to share in substantial regional and national prize pools.
The awards programme and on-farm judging process is designed to accelerate entrants’ learning and development and provide opportunities for business analysis and networking.
The first round of judging for Share Farmer of the Year and Dairy Manager of the Year will take place over two days at the end of January, while Trainee of the Year will be judged from February 5 to 8. Regional winners will be announced at an awards dinner at Toll Stadium, Whangarei on March 7.
