The colours and styles of the 1950s, 60s and 70s are in fashion again and being reinterpreted with a modern twist.

A small but packed exhibition at Estuary Arts this month is focused on all things retro. It will include original furniture, fabrics and items from those three decades, as well as modern pieces inspired by that aesthetic.

A collection of miniature vintage VW vehicles will be there, as well as a felted fabric piece inspired by 1970s colours and design.

The Retro-View exhibition runs from February 22-March 21 at Estuary Arts Centre in Western Reserve, Ōrewa.
