New funding available for Coast projects

Hibiscus Coast community organisations can apply for funding from the “North Shore Fund”, the most recent addition to Auckland Foundation’s annual granting.

The fund was launched last year with the support of Sir Stephen Tindall.

Applications are sought from Hibiscus Coast groups with projects that address social disadvantage, promote health and wellbeing, or strengthen community. Grants of up to $5000 are available and will target predominantly volunteer-run organisations that otherwise don’t get a lot of funding.

Applications are open July 1–August 10. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of September. Info: www.aucklandfoundation.org.nz
