Sports clubs can apply to Sport New Zealand’s new $1.5 million Outdoor Education Support Fund.
It is aimed at clubs offering outdoor education and which are experiencing short-term financial hardship due to Covid-19.
Recreation Aotearoa chief executive Andrew Leslie says he understands that clubs are already suffering the financial impacts of the 2020 lockdown and the current lockdown has meant many are facing insolvency.
Applications are open until 5pm on Friday, October 29, and can be made at www.nzrecreation.org.nz.
