This is the area that will be covered by the new BID. Silverdale is to get its own Business Improvement District (BID), following a ballot process that concluded last week when voting closed. Business and project manager for Silverdale Business, Tasha Gummer, says the voting showed majority support for the establishment for a BID and although Gummer says it was close, it met the threshold required by Auckland Council.
