The Puhoi community is being asked to spread the word that a planting day will be held in the Puhoi Pioneers Park on Sunday, September 3.

Volunteers are invited to connect with like-minded individuals, learn about local conservation efforts and make a tangible difference in their community.

The morning starts at 8.30am and planters should make their way along the main River Walkway to find the planting location.

Wear sturdy shoes and take along gardening gloves and a spade if you have them.

Equipment will be provided for those who don’t. Everyone welcome.
