The Kaipara Flats cricket family after their final win on Sunday in Whangārei.

KFCC took down City Cricket Club in the Lion Red Cup final at Cobham Oval in Whangārei on December 8 to retain their one-day Northland title.

City batted first posting 9/179 off 50 overs but it never looked like enough and KFCC made easy work of the run chase scoring 3/183 to win by seven wickets with nearly five overs to spare.

KFCC ended their innings in style hitting a boundary off the final ball to seal City’s fate.
