Brick Bay without the bang

Greetings everyone from Brick Bay.

As you plan your celebrations to welcome in the New Year, and leave 2024 well behind us, some of you may be disappointed to learn that our little pyrotechnic display will be missing at midnight.

I have been doing it myself with some mates since the millennium and age is catching up with us, particularly considering all the risks involved. They are very big mortars and I have to notify airways to ensure no low-flying aircraft will be overhead!

But please party on, 2025 looks to be so much better, and always remember that we are all so privileged to live in such an amazing place.
