Centrestage Theatre in Ōrewa is on the lookout for volunteer builders to help create stage sets for their shows, particularly for this year’s comedy play Noises Off, which opens in September.

Chair of Centrestage Theatre Group, Michael Sanders says, “If you’re confident with a hammer and power tools, they’ll provide the rest – support, training, and a safe, welcoming space.

“No one is thrown in the deep end, and good safety practices are all part of the deal.

You’ll gain new skills, learn about set construction and design, make great friends, and be part of something truly rewarding.

Community theatre is creative, collaborative, and fun – and your contribution helps make the magic happen,” he says.
