A vibrant new chapter begins for residents of The Anchorage Lifestyle Village with the official opening of a state-of-the-art clubhouse that promises to become the social heartbeat of the community.
Developed by Hopper Developments, the newly unveiled 842sqm clubhouse sits along the picturesque waterways of Marsden Cove.
Designed by Ignite Architects, the building is a showcase of thoughtful architecture, featuring eucalyptus-clad high ceilings, expansive wraparound windows, and panoramic views of the canal and Mt Manaia.
The project has taken 11 months to complete and represents a significant milestone not just for the village, but for the wider Marsden Cove community. With a sprawling 360sqm deck overlooking the water, the clubhouse is poised to become a favourite spot for social gatherings, quiet coffees, and enjoying the coastal atmosphere.

Inside, residents can enjoy a warm and welcoming space with a well-appointed lounge, library, pool table area, café and bar. A dedicated bowling green complements the facility, while a wellness centre with a pool, spa and gymnasium is currently in development to further enhance the lifestyle offering.
Crafted with care by Chris Stewart Builders, the clubhouse is surrounded by relaxed coastal landscaping, thanks to the work of local firms Evergreen and Blue Nikau.
A key highlight is the public café, which officially opens its doors on July 14, welcoming visitors daily from 9am to 3pm. Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee or a scenic lunch on the deck, the café is expected to be a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
Hopper Developments chief executive Andy Grey expressed pride in the company’s vision.

“Hopper Living projects go beyond simply providing housing for seniors – they’re about creating lively, well-supported communities where people feel a true sense of connection and belonging. Achieving that takes thoughtful planning, continuous collaboration, and a deep commitment to quality and care.,” he said.
“The Anchorage Clubhouse is more than just a new facility – it’s a reflection of the lifestyle, values, and vision that Hopper Developments is known for.”
The clubhouse is located at 80 Rauiri Drive, Marsden Cove, One Tree Point.
