“Betty is the glue who holds the residents of our street in the village together. She is generous with sharing her homemade baking and meals with neighbours and hosts occasional gatherings for us all. Betty ensures we all take advantage of village dinners and gatherings. She also gives much time to the indoor bowls group. In between times, she knits for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also tends her garden from which we all benefit. I am truly blessed to call Betty my friend and neighbour.”
