North Shore Riding for the Disabled has a fully covered 60×40 metre arena and indoor facility available for hire at its Stillwater facility, with income helping to fund the charity’s therapeutic riding programme.
The hire fees contribute directly to operating costs and support the group’s mission to “Reach more Riders – Change more Lives.”
The arena is suitable for equine training, dressage, clinics and competitions, as well as non-equine activities such as workshops, dog training, classroom field studies and filming. It is fully lit for evening use and available outside therapeutic riding session hours, and can be booked online for hourly day or evening sessions
Recent events include a three-day dressage programme with a visiting Spanish rider. Bookings can be made online for equine use, with limits on truck and float numbers due to parking.

Volunteers needed at NZRDA
North Shore Riding for the Disabled is calling for volunteers to help keep its programmes running. The group needs side walkers to support riders and horses, people with governance skills to share committee work, and helpers for website, IT and newsletter tasks. Local tradespeople willing to work at charity rates are also welcome. Those able to assist can contact president Christine Fallas at christine.fallas@northshorerda.org or for IT and newsletter support, Steve Sims at steve.sims@northshorerda.org
