Springboard’s annual fundraising dinner was held next to Sheepworld on Saturday, November 8, and it was once again a success, raising around $236,000, which surpassed last year’s total of $220,000.
Donations on the night were matched dollar-for-dollar by Kennards Hire Foundation and Northwood Developments Limited, who contributed $100,000 of the final total between them.
Springboard chief executive officer Dan Gray said it was a great outcome and another great event.
It capped off the organisation’s Fund a Brighter Future campaign, which raises much-needed money to support young people in the Rodney area.
