Wayby landfill granted interim consent

Maintaining the health of the Hōteo River was one of the key issues addressed by the Environment Court. A regional landfill at Wayby looks set to proceed after the Environment Court handed down a 312 page interim decision on February 26, concluding that consent for the project could be granted with modified conditions.
