A plan forcing residents living on Frances Place, Viv Davie Martin Drive and part of Falls Road to use the ford, as the only access to their properties, has been revoked by Auckland Transport pending further discussion. Auckland Transport moved swiftly last week to revoke a road closure on part of Falls Road, which would have diverted residents in Viv Davie Martin Drive and Frances Place over the Falls Road ford for four months.
