Slip and drainage works for Dairy Flat Highway

Motorists driving along Dairy Flat Highway near the Green Road turnoff may be wondering about the extensive roadworks currently underway.

According to an Auckland Transport spokesperson the project involves slip repair/prevention works, installing new drainage systems to improve water flow and prevent flooding, constructing concrete piles to support the structure, installing anchors to ensure everything stays secure and stable and resealing the road to leave the surface safe, smooth and fully restored after the work is done.

The project is due for completion in November.
