For the first time in 60 years, two adjacent properties on the Stanmore Bay beachfront, 5 and 7 Claude Road, are for sale.

Bayleys Real Estate agent Sue Donoghue says there is interest in purchasing both together. The combined site area would be 1618sqm.

The zoning under the Auckland Unitary Plan is Residential – Single House, and the allowable height limit is two-storeys.

The rateable value (2017) on the land with a house and cottage on it is $2.5m and $1.9m on the section next door. The properties are to go to auction on August 18.
