Introducing – La Belle Coastal Escape

Lisa Crompton

A pampering session can boost confidence and mental well-being, and improve self-esteem, and who doesn’t need that, says Lisa Crompton, the owner of La Belle Coastal Escape, which has just opened at 21 Moir Street in Mangawhai.

“We feel we are offering an oasis of calm in what can be a stressful world and our reward is seeing our clients leave feeling wonderful,” she says.

Lisa brings decades of beauty experience, both in New Zealand and overseas, to her new business. She trained in Auckland in 1990s, then worked in France and Ireland, and on cruise ships in Alaska and the Caribbean.

She says that she has drawn from this experience to offer a range of treatments so suit all budgets, and has included some exotic options in stone massage and Indian scalp massage.

“Much like you get in a restaurant, we have a menu of treatments and prices, and we welcome opportunities to talk through these with our clients so we can see what will best suit their needs.

“Each treatment is paired with specific products that smell divine and enhance the treatment experience.

“We use New Zealand organic products that are perfect for all skin types, even sensitive skin. This includes the locally made Little Soul Co aromatherapy range, which are just exquisite. Our body masks use products based on Mangawhai honey and NZ seaweed, and even our spray tan is organic. It’s all about being as natural and healthy as possible.”

Lisa says she and her staff love their jobs, and she believes clients feel that when they have a treatment.

“Whether you are spoiling yourself, or someone else with a gift voucher, a day spa experience leaves you feeling energised and positive.”

Some of the services offered at La Belle include waxing, Sabore facials, electrolysis and red vein treatment, massage and makeup services.
