Matakana business appeals licence cancellation

All three hospitality establishments have suffered the consequences of serving customers who were underage. Matakana Liquor Centre is appealing an Alcohol Regulatory Licensing Authority decision to cancel its licence, effective from May 1. Centre owner John Walsh confirmed the appeal, but declined to elaborate on the grounds for the appeal.
