Little Lights Playgroup

Little Lights is a warm, volunteer-run Steiner playgroup that has been part of the Mangawhai community for nearly 18 years.

Every Thursday morning during school terms, families gather at the Gaya Tree for a slow, unhurried morning together. We bake bread, sing songs, share seasonal crafts and stories, play outdoors with natural toys, enjoy a wholesome shared morning tea and tidy up together. The gentle rhythm helps little ones feel safe and settled, and gives parents and carers a chance to connect over a cuppa.

Little Lights is a lovely first community for families new to Mangawhai, and a gentle stepping stone for those drawn to Steiner education or home learning. New families are always welcome.

Details

When: Thursdays, 9:30am to 12pm, during school terms
Where: The Gaya Tree, Mangawhai
Who: Tamariki aged 0 to 6, with a parent or carer
Cost: $10 a week, or $15 for two children, paid per term. A second child under 1 is free
