Agents into the swing of things

Two local real estate agents are holding golf tournaments in aid of children’s charities on the same day, at Omaha Beach and Warkworth Golf Clubs, on Friday, November 28.

Bayleys in the North’s second Spring Swing is an 18-hole Ambrose tournament at Omaha, while Barfoot & Thompson’s annual Golf for Good is a nine-hole Ambrose at Warkworth.

Teams of four can enter the Spring Swing for $1500, which includes a welcome morning tea, on-course barbecue lunch, drinks and buffet dinner, while Golf for Good entry costs $400 per team.

Money raised at the Bayleys event will go to children’s health research charity Cure Kids, while proceeds from the Barfoot & Thompson day will go to Starship Hospital.
