Eggs, bunnies and baby animals were in abundance over Easter, providing plenty of fun for young and old during the holiday weekend.
The post-cylone weather might not have been perfect, but it mostly stayed dry enough for events to go ahead.
Our photographer Anna Thoroughgood was out and about and caught some of the action, including egg hunts and animal feeding at Sheepworld, near Warkworth, and the Easter Bunny paying a visit to Matakana Village Farmers’ Market for the littlies, plus an antique fair at Matakana School and a wine and food tasting event at Charlies Gelato for the grown-ups.
