Choir try-out in Matakana

Anyone who’s ever fancied singing in a choir should visit the Matakana Hall at the end of this month for a try-out night organised by Matakantata.

The group promises a fun night to give people an idea of what singing in harmony involves and the enjoyment it can bring.

And anyone who is keen to sing in theory, but too busy in practice for a full commitment to choir can sign up for ‘Matalite’ – participants will need to learn just six songs and attend some rehearsals, but will still be able to grow and develop their voices.
