Matakantata choir is inviting audiences to sail into the holiday season for its traditional end-of-year concerts next month.

Sailing Home for Christmas will feature a wide selection of songs about being on or near the sea, and there are two chances to catch it – first, at the Matakana Community Hall on the evening of Friday, December 5, followed by a matinee performance at Warkworth Town Hall on Sunday, December 7.

Concert organisers say there will be something for everyone, adding ‘We promise not to disappoint!”

The Matakana concert starts at 7.30pm and runs until around 9pm, while the Warkworth performance is between 4pm and 5.30pm.

Tickets cost $25 for adults from any choir member, Gull Matakana or Harts Pharmacy in Warkworth, or online from https://events.humanitix.com/saling-home-for-christmas. Children can get in with a gold coin.
