The Dolfin-Lin Duo, featuring New Zealand Chinese pianist Tony Chen Lin and Hungarian cellist Balázs Dolfin, will play at Warkworth Town Hall on Saturday, August 22.

The concert, presented by Warkworth Music in partnership with Chamber Music New Zealand, explores the themes of departures, origins, and journeys, both literally and metaphorically.

“In curating this programme, we wanted not only the two instruments to have a dialogue with one another, but also the pieces themselves to speak to each other, across cultures and centuries, and between past and present,” says Chen Li.

The concert starts at 4pm, and tickets are available at the door (cash only) and online through www.warkworthmusic.org.nz. Children and school students are free
