Healing story at Te Hana

Shot Bro, a real life story about one man’s battle with depression and attempted suicide, is coming to Te Hana on Saturday, April 27.

Rob Mokaraka will talk about his experience of hitting rock bottom before embarking on a seven-year journey to better health and wellbeing.

He will be at Te Ao Marama Cultural Centre at 4.30pm and entry is free, though koha is appreciated.

A cultural centre spokesperson says Shot Bro is full of rawness, truths, laughs and, most of all, aroha to heal and help others understand that they are not alone.

Refreshments and support resources will be provided and the show is suitable for anyone aged 10 and over, accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Info and bookings, email tehana@xtra.co.nz or call 423 8701.
