Sadly, this year’s Auckland Anniversary weekend Rodders Beach Festival was unable to go ahead, due to the Covid-19 restrictions on large events.

However, a small and casual one day event for Hibiscus Rodders members was able to be held under the red traffic light setting.

Saturday, January 29 saw a handful of Rodders bring their unique, high-gloss vehicles to take part in a local park up at Ōrewa Reserve, followed by a cruise to the Puhoi Pub. On the way was a parade along Ōrewa Boulevard for “Mates with V8s”.
