Sheepworld hosts Easter picnics

Sheepworld is feeding visitors as well as animals this Easter.

Visitors to Sheepworld, on State Highway 1, just north of Warkworth, can feed themselves as well as the animals on the farm trail this Easter, with special picnic hampers available to pre-order over the holiday weekend.

Other activities include an Easter egg hunt, face painting, lawn games and colouring competitions, as well as the farm park’s normal sheep shearing and dog shows.

The picnics include sandwiches, fruit, cold meats and cheeses, muffins and sparkling grape juice, all packed in a basket hamper with a picnic blanket to sit on.

The price for two or four people includes farm entry to Sheepworld and bags of food to feed the animals, such as goats, alpacas, rabbits, pigs, deer, a donkey, horse and an emu, as well as sheep.

Easter activities will run from Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 21 inclusive and picnics must be ordered in advance.
