Noisy river art complaints prompt quick response from council

Residents living around the town basin in Warkworth concerned about late night noise generated by the recently-launched river light show installation, Te Hokinga Mahara, have had some good news.

When daylight saving started on September 24, the lights and accompanying soundtrack shifted from playing at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm to 9pm and 10pm, seven days a week, and each performance took 20 minutes to complete.
