Watercare is investigating a less disruptive route to connect the northern growth areas of Warkworth to the pump station at Lucy Moore Memorial Park, just south of the township.
Watercare says it has taken on board feedback from the community and local businesses, and is now assessing the feasibility of a number of options that won’t require trenching or tunnelling in either Queen or Neville Streets.
The new pipeline will start near the showgrounds. Watercare says it will have further updates in May.
