A Mahurangi dive business has invented a device that could prove vital in the battle to eradicate the exotic and highly invasive seaweed caulerpa.
Commercial Dive Specialists (CDS), based in Mahurangi West, is currently trialling its Rehabitat treatment device in the Bay of Islands and managing director Brook McRae said results were exceeding all expectations.
