Rodney Community Events

The Rodney Community Team is a new Council community development team, working on behalf of the Rodney Local Board. Our team has all the expertise and experience needed to bring life, connection and new opportunities to our unique communities of Rodney in line with the Rodney Local Board plan. We are Rodney locals with bases in Wellsford, Mahurangi East, Warkworth, Milldale, Kumeu and Helensville.  We work with and support other Council teams to ensure Rodney gets the most out of regional opportunities.

Our goals:

  • Bring Rodney locals together
  • Create resilient & sustainable communities
  • Make shared spaces friendly for all of us
  • Create more opportunities for arts, culture, heritage and events
  • Keep our towns and villages vibrant and liveable
  • Better quality jobs, training and development opportunities for locals
