Brendan Dooley “Make ‘em laugh”

Internationally renowned comedian and magician, Brendan Dooley, will on stage at the Mangawhai Tavern on Saturday April 18 as part of the Make ‘Em Laugh event, with all proceeds going to the Mangawhai Museum. Organisers Faye Willemsen-Ward and Sharon Fenner highlight the opportunity to bring an artist of this calibre to Mangawhai, without the need for locals to travel to cities such as Auckland or Wellington. Unlike last year, when the event was organised as a fundraising dinner that raised $32,000, this year the organisers have opted to focus on entertainment. There will be 16 tables available, seating 10 people each.

Tickets cost $150 per person and include bubbles on arrival, a three-course dinner and entertainment. The show starts at 5.30pm. Info: manager@mangawhai-museum.org.nz
